We pride ourselves on treating the dogs as though they are our own

Our centre is a space for dogs to relax and play as well as a place where owners and their dogs can learn together. We want to educate dogs and their people to speak the same language in order to get the very best from each other.

The Dog Play & Learning Centre is based in West Calder (between Edinburgh and Glasgow) and has now been established for almost a decade. We pride ourselves on offering a friendly and positive experience, for both you and your dog. We only ever use modern, positive and ethical training methods and treat the dogs in our care as if they were our own.

We are passionate about dogs. We believe in letting dogs be dogs while living in harmony with their people.

Lisa has an HNC and HND in Animal Care, is an accredited IAABC Animal Behaviour practitioner and has undertaken hundreds of hours of CPD through various Professional bodies to include COAPE (Behaviour Diploma) and currently completing the COAPE Canine Nutrition Diploma. 

All staff, excluding driving staff, are part of Clare Russell Dip CabBT Mentor Team where we strive to progress and explore all things dog. The learning never stops and new things are always being discovered about brains and behaviour that we want to apply to our Centre.
